Moving our bodies is important for staying healthy, even if it’s hard to do. Exercise helps our muscles stay strong, our hearts stay healthy, and it makes us feel better, too! But what if moving around is hard? There are still ways to exercise, even if you can’t do it the way you used to.
If you have trouble walking, you can try using a pedal exerciser. It’s like a bike you can use while sitting down. It helps your legs stay strong without having to stand up. There are also special bands called resistance bands that you can stretch with your hands. They help keep your arms and legs strong.
Even if you can’t get up and move a lot, you can do exercises while sitting in a chair. You can lift your legs, stretch your arms, or even do some gentle twisting. These exercises keep your body active and healthy.
Remember, staying active is important, no matter how you do it!
